We yanked up a tired carpet in our family room to find a red oak hardwood parquet floor underneath. The floor was in pretty rough shape though, some minor damage that grew to even more and we pulled up the tack strips from the carpet install. So, we had a lot of loose pieces, the ones that weren't had been painted on, stained or were otherwise a bit rough.
Jeff came out and told me he could fix it up nice with a little sanding and re-stain, re-finish...and boy did he ever. The floor looks absolutely amazing...better than new. So impressed with the work they did and at a fair price. This small investment added a lot of zing to our house.

I decided to get rid of my old carpeting to reveal the 54-year old hardwood floors below. Rather than more carpeting, I called Miller's Hardwood to refinish the floors. They sanded down to the white oak (removing all the old reddish-yellowish gunk and stains), then one of their experts helped me pick out a new stain color. He patiently mixed several until we found just the right one for me. After the new stain and all the other coatings were applied, the floors were absolutely "beautiful". I had no idea the beauty that was under my old carpeting. The house feels so much "cleaner" now and I'm sure I won't be breathing dust mites all night. Jeff, the owner, was super nice and helpful, the price was fair, and his crew were hard working and professional. GREAT JOB !!!

The owner, Jeff, was very professional not only in the workmanship of the wood flooring installed in our home but also in his communication and willingness to find the right product for us. His workers showed up when they said they would and Jeff made it a point to let us know their schedule so we could plan accordingly. He went out of his way to find the right wood flooring that we were looking for. The last time we put in wood floors to our home was 25 years ago so we wanted to make sure the new flooring wood last just as long in terms of quality and durability. We think we have achieived this with Jeff's help.

In 2012, we bought a 1940's vintage house that need a lot of work to renovate. Miller's refinished our red oak floors. They replaced wood that was termite damaged with matching red oak, and stained and finished the floors. They stuck to their estimate and did a beautiful job. We would highly recommend them for this kind of work.

Miller's Hardwood Flooring put my original floors in back in 1992 so I called them to do the refinishing.. Now they look like new The crew was very thorough and informative of the process. I would recommend Miller's to anyone.
